Three Arrested In Friendship Street Shooting

*In the early morning hours of December
30, 2019, Lafayette Police responded to shots fired in
the 100 block of Friendship Street. Upon arrival officers located a 19-year-old male victim suffering from
multiple gunshot wounds outside a residence. He was transported to a local
hospital and is listed in stable but critical condition.
On December 31st Lafayette Police arrested a female suspect. 19-year-old Tanisha Carron (B/F) of Lafayette on an active warrant for Attempted First Degree Murder. She was located at a local residence and transported to the Lafayette Parish Correctional Center for booking.
On January 2, 2020, two additional arrests were made in connection with the December 30th shooting. 18-year-old Lance Savoy (B/M) and 18-year-old Sterling G. Lee III (B/M), both from Lafayette, were arrested on active warrants for Attempted First Degree Murder. Both were transported to the Lafayette Parish Correctional Center for booking.
The investigation remains on-going.
*All suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
